Hi, I'm Aubrey. I have been making art for as long as I can remember- growing up in a family of artists in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. What started as a childhood filled with craft-shows and constant drawing, has grown into a lifelong practice of attempting to capture the beauty I see in the world around me.

I work primarily with acrylics, watercolors and colored pencils. I am most often drawn to recreating the quiet moments we sometimes overlook- the way light filters through leaves onto the sidewalk, the crisscross of the telephone wires in front of a sunset, or the stories told on people's faces that we pass. There's something magical about noticing beauty in ordinary things, and that's what I am most excited about exploring in my work.

I create art because it brings me joy! And it also brings me so much joy when I know that I am making art that other people can enjoy. Art that brightens homes and spaces, reflecting the wonder in the world that is always around us.
